I checked several stands and figured for my Yamaha NP-30 (which weighs only about 12 pounds) this stand would be fine. It would’ve been fine if it were packed properly. I received the stand bent on one side. I tried to fix it and bend it back, but now it’s not as sturdy as it should be. It’s pretty simple to put together, but the other reviewers are right – it requires some “slight of hand” as there are no instructions telling you which way the X’s should face. It’s cheap, and that’s what I paid for, but it’s not even worth the 14.00 spent. I should’ve gone with the Yamaha double-X stand.

This Stand was a lot less money than others I looked at. It was pretty easy to put together although it was not machined to high quality tolerances. It’s perfect for my 7 yr old and his beginners Casio keyboard but I doubt it would be sturdy enough for a professional unit or something over 100 lbs.

This keyboard stand is decently built, though you have to assemble it and lining up the bolts and holes may require a little slight of hand. But it keeps the keyboard nice and stable, and has an easy adjustment lever.
