All Things Piano
Attention Parents - Can your child follow an adult piano course alone? Will you know what's going on? Would it be a good thing if you had a course outline and teachers guide so you could do the job without paying for a piano teacher?
This Student Edition is designed just for that purpose. Learn and Master Piano Student Edition is for everyone, and especially for parents to lead young Homeschoolers who need more than an adult "do it yourself type course."
This is Serious Piano training (aka - the real deal.) Check it out (and bookmark it) now while you're thinking about it. Watch for special SALE prices. Click on the banner ad for the regular Basic course.
This is a very nice keyboard for home use or a beginner/hobbyist. I have owned numerous pro keyboards and purchased this for my son to use. The sounds are a very high quality and are worlds better than the home keyboards of 10 years ago. Very light key action is to be expected but the keys are responsive and velocity sensitive. Includes some interesting performance features and a USB connection to use with the included software or as a generic MIDI input device for any sequencing software you might use. In summary, this Yamaha YPT410 is a steal for the price and I’m tempted to buy another one for myself!
The headphones bundled with this keyboard DO NOT fit the keyboard headphone jack. Amazon said I could return it or accept 20% off the price, presumably to buy headphones that actually work with this keyboard. Not the biggest problem in the world, but come on — the headphones in the box should at least plug into the keyboard. These aren’t even close.
The keyboard is great – everything we wanted and expected. That’s why I gave it 5 stars. But there are issues with the other items in the bundle. The stand that was included in the bundle is not a Yamaha stand and not a great fit for this keyboard. It may be OK for adults but we have a 4 year old and it’s only a matter of time before it get’s bumped off the stand. We’re going to buy a different stand right away. The headphones look nice but the connector on them is the wrong size for the jack on the keyboard. Going to follow up with Amazon about this issue.
The Yamaha sound is good as always. The voises, styles and other features are good. No complaints. Only thing I wish now is ability to quick save MIDI files (personal songs) on computer or any storage device. Now I need to play my song to record the MIDI or WAV file on computer. It takes time. Yes, and headphones are not so professional actually…

I needed to upgrade my keyboard. This does everything you could possibly want. Free shippping & no tax sweetened the deal. Recommended.
