The features are plenty for a beginner like me but I have explored some of them including MIDI interface (recording from the keyboard from the computer and playing music from computer into the keyboard) and they are a great learning tool. <br /> <br />It has all sorts of sounds that one can generate going beyond the musical instruments. I could actually use those sounds for special effects added to home videos that I edit. The headphone as others have noted stopped working right away and the sound on it was not great either. One Email to Wal-mart and they gave me $21 credit for that which I loved. I am a beginner but found that the keyboard has a real natural feel and that is important to start. The features are plenty for a beginner like me but I have explored some of them including MIDI interface (recording from the keyboard from the computer and playing music from computer into the keyboard) and they are a great learning tool.

It has all sorts of sounds that one can generate going beyond the musical instruments. I could actually use those sounds for special effects added to home videos that I edit. That is a good to have for a totally different purpose.
