"When choosing an instrument, it is important to discuss with the salesman about your piano techniques, ultimate goals, budget, and space issues."

That is very true. Specially when your living in a compact apartment. You might not want to waste a precious space for a grand. If you have a very small area but do not want the music quality to go off, just pick the baby grand.

For me I stick to grand pianos. I have been playing piano for 5 years and I really love the sound quality of grand pianos. My child is still a beginner but I want to give the best to my child for learning. I have my piano at home. I have been giving lessons for 4 months now and she's been improving very fast.
